Xiomara Pichardo, Founder and owner of MaraMia Esthetics, is a NYS Licensed Esthetician and Tattoo Artist. Xiomara’s journey began in renowned esthetics schools, where she mastered the art of skincare. She has since worked alongside dermatologists, refining her craft and staying abreast of the latest advancements. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures that she provides top-notch services to our valued clients.

Xiomara decided it was in her best interest to go solo and open up her own spa to bring something new to the Capital Region area. She felt ready and equipped to open based on her experience, knowledge, and confidence. She offers multiple services from skin to beauty to appearance enhancement. She has found that typically you would have to go to 2 or 3 different places to get the services you want done, here at MaraMia you could get all if not most of your services done in one place.

Xiomara is passionate about making her clients feel beautiful inside and out. Xiomara takes pride in her work and educating her clients on the importance of how their surroundings, food intake, stress, etc can effect their skin conditions.

  • Yes, it is important for the specialist to analyze the skin and products you’ve been using. Also she will review your medical history with you to provide the most accurate treatment.

  • Yes, once we’ve gone over everything from analyzing the skin, to medical history, and skin concerns we can see what’s the best treatment for you.

  • We accept cash, Debit cards, Credit cards, Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. Please note that Credit Cards will have an additional fee of 2.99%.

  • Yes, we offer all sorts of add-ons such as Dermplaning, LED light therapy, Chemical peels, Extractions, RadioFrequency, and more.

  • We treat minors as young as 11 years old or minors younger that have active acne or skin concerns.

  • Click on the service you wish to receive. There will be a button below that says “Book now” you will click the button, and be redirected to our booking page.

  • Yes. per our policies, we do require 50% of the service that is non-refundable to book. The deposit will be applied to the cost of your treatment.

  • Unfortunately, we won’t be able to book your service at that time.

  • Absolutely! We take our clients’ records and health very seriously. Our record books are kept locked and secured. Only authorized personnel are allowed to view client records.

  • Yes. We offer Gift cards where you will receive a redemption code or you can come in office and pick up a hard cover. You can gift them to yourself or a loved one.

  • Yes. You will need to use your gift certificate within 1 year from the purchase date.

  • Unfortunately, we are not responsible nor will we replace lost or stolen gift cards.

  • Yes. We ask that you call, text, or email us 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Your deposit can be applied to another date as long as it’s 24 hours or more. If not the deposit becomes non-refundable and to book again you must pay another deposit fee. 2 cancellations you will no longer be able to book online. 3 Cancellations will no longer be able to book any service. You can also review all our policies when booking.

  • Yes! We encourage our clients to book ahead. Our books are very busy and booking ahead guarantees an appointment.

  • No problem. We do have a waitlist option for certain time frames/days that open up due to canceled appointments. Once your name is at the top of our waitlist you will be informed either by text, call, or email to confirm the available appointment.

  • We have a Medical Director who overlooks our records, if needed so we can set you up with a prescription and consult with the doctor.

  • This may happen. This is why we stress the importance of being thorough with all medications, topical creams, food diets, allergies, etc to avoid complications. If there is something in your medical history you are not sure about, we will then need you to bring in a note from your physician giving the ok for a specific treatment. Based on the answers you provide on your forms we can come up with the best treatment option based on your needs and health conditions

  • Medications such as iso-tretinoin and accutane, you must be off of these medications for a minimum of 6 months with a medical clearance from your doctor to receive any facial service. For waxing, you must be off of these medications for 1 year.

  • We want our clients to get the best experience in being relaxed and rejuvenated. Our treatment rooms are designed and spaced for 1:1 Services and are not recommended for additional guests.

  • As much as we love children we ask that you keep them home. We have a lot of chemicals in our products that aren’t safe to be around children. We also aren’t liable if something happens.

  • Every 28 days.

  • Every 4 weeks is recommended, hair growth should be the size of a grain of rice.

  • We will never force anyone to buy our products. However, you may not see the desired results by using OTC products. Our professional products and retail products contain medical grade and active ingredients that maximize the desired results.

  • Yes! We have several discounts such as Veterans Discount 5%, High School & College Student Discount 5%, Clients who allow photos to be used as content 5$ off, and more. For the job-related discounts you must have proof you work in those fields such as ID, Badge, Student ID etc. Clients who allow photos to be used must sign a consent form to receive the 5$ off. Elderly Discount 55+ proof of ID.
